VC in Australia is growing fast but its a pretty tough industry to break into – from both an investing perspective or an Ops perspective due to the fierce competition.
Our role is a great starting point for anyone interested in joining VC operational side in the early days and they will have a awesome opportunity to help shape Galileo as we grow.
For this role we’re looking for:
- Candidates from all backgrounds – don’t have to work in tech (but do have to love it)
- Someone who is organised and will keep us organised as we expand the programs and team
- Someone who will love the challenge of building our internal (the founders we back) and external communities
- Someone who is as excited as us to support first-time founders we back – often before many VCs will even take a look
- This role is very much for an all-rounder, who will work across our accelerator program, fund operations, and wider Galileo (and startup) community. You will have an unrivalled chance to meet and learn from successful founders, tech executives and leading investors from around the world in the role.
The role is work from home compatible (we’re a remote VC) but ideally looking for a candidate that is based around Sydney or Melbourne for the in-person aspects.
